COVID-19 Protection Framework (Traffic Light System)

From Friday 3 December 2021, we will be operating under the new COVID-19 Protection Framework (traffic lights).

My Vaccine Pass certificates will be required for everyone taking part in any of our Tours or Transfers. People under the age of 12 years and 3 months are not required to show proof of vaccination. We reserve the right to verify the pass through the NZ Pass verifier app and/or asking for valid ID. Exempt passengers are also required to have a My Vaccine Pass. 

We will be operating at all colours of the traffic lights.  Masks are required on tour coach and you must not travel if you're feeling unwell.

Tours: 

Our tours take you to attractions, experiences and venues which are only open to people who are fully vaccinated.  For this reason, you can only travel on one of our tours if you have a My Vaccine Pass. You must wear a mask or face covering on tour coach. You’ll need to supply your own mask and keep it on throughout your journey. See below for frequently asked questions.

I have a booking, but I'm not vaccinated. Will I receive a refund?

If your booking was made with us before 3 December 2021, we will provide a full refund. Our standard terms and conditions apply to bookings made after 3 December 2021.

I am booked on a tour to Mt Cook & Lake Tekapo. Do I have to be vaccinated?

Yes, you do have to be fully vaccinated, as we use third party operators that require all people to be fully vaccinated when entering their premises.

When will I need to show My Vaccine Pass?

On boarding the tour coach. Our staff will be using the government NZ Pass verifier app to check vaccine certificates.

Requirements for any transfers under New Zealand’s COVID-19 Protection Framework (‘traffic lights’).

For the safety of our staff / passanger and to be able to opreate under all levels of the COVID-19 Protection Framework (‘traffic lights’) below requirements for all transfer will apply:

  1. All passengers aged 12 years 3 months and over must present a valid My Vaccine Pass upon check-in to travel. Exempt passengers are also required to have a My Vaccine Pass. 
  2. If you have a booking and are not vaccinated, please contact our reservations team so we can organise a refund. 
  3. You must wear a mask or face covering. You’ll need to supply your own mask and keep it on throughout your journey.
  4. Our vehicels are regularly cleaned in line with Ministry of Health guidelines and hand sanitiser is available on board.
